Swim-a-thon Makes Waves! Amy Hart (far right) and a dozen other swimmers braved choppy waters to raise $3000 which was sent to Malawi Fresh Water Project to fix broken wells in 4 villages, thus RESTORING WATER for 4,000 PEOPLE! (See Press Clips for latest coverage.)

Filmmaker Amy Hart and other swimmers will make their way across Saratoga Lake in Upstate, NY, to raise funds for well projects in Africa, and to continue production of her documentary film project, Water First.
Globally, over 1.1 BILLION people do not have clean water as a result 6,000 children die every day. This documentary film project aims to raise awareness of the issue and support the solutions. You can help. We are partnering with African Reflections and Malawi Fresh Water Project to make sure the funds you contribute towards the well projects go to help the people who need it most.

We start at around 8:00am at the Saratoga Sailing club on the West side of the lake; and come in around 10:00am at Brown's Beach at the Saratoga Lake Inn.
